“Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” by Seth Grahame-Smith

PrideandPrejudiceandZombiesCoverThe first time I heard about this book I thought it was ridiculous. Then I heard that it got great reviews and decided to give it a try.

Wow.

This book is so crazy but also hilarious. It’s so over-the-top but in the best way possible. Having read the original story, it’s interesting to read about how the author adapted the story and characters to a world ridden with zombies.

The story, by the way, is essentially the exact same thing as Pride & Prejudice, but the world has been overtaken by zombies. Over time, people have become accustomed to slaying zombies on their way to work or while taking a stroll in the park.

I have yet to see the movie, but I am excited to see the story’s portrayal on-screen.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes parody-type novels, especially if you were a fan of the original story and zombies.
